The Great Apocalypse caused a near total extinction of the human race, with the remaining survivors essentially returning to a hunter gatherer lifestyle as other options became impossible. While the true extent of the Great Apocalypse's effects remain unknown, it is a prolific event in nearly every culture and religion on Niove.
