This is a page cataloguing the entire history of Niove by year, this is more intended for myself, as cataloguing every event will get predictably very cluttered.

80th Century BFC

Great Apocalypse

Main article: Great Apocalypse

The Great Apocalypse occurs, this shattered the previously known world of Niove, displacing the entire world population and leaving potentially billions to die. The true circumstances and date behind the event are a mystery, and evidence comes purely from archaeological records and Relics from the Old World. The Great Apocalypse caused a near total extinction of the human race, with the remaining survivors essentially returning to a hunter gatherer lifestyle as other options became impossible. While the true extent of the Great Apocalypse's effects remain unknown, it is a prolific event in nearly every culture and religion on Niove.

Discovery of magic

There is also evidence that the discovery of magic on Niove occurred shortly before the Great Apocalypse, though the ramifications of this are unknown. This has led some to conclude that magic is to be avoided, although this is a more modern occurrence. Despite its discovery in prehistoric Niove, its knowledge seems to have been lost some time after the Great Apocalypse, and would only be rediscovered come the Xth Century.
